MEDICA 2018: The starting block for many startups

Startups and companies from northern Sweden now have the chance to accompany Medica in Germany, one of the world’s largest medical fairs.

Meeting business partners, discovering new applications, products, and tech trends – It’s time for Medica, the leading international trade fair for the medical sector. Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is looking for SME:s and startups who want’s to go.

Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is running a company mission to Germany, from November 12th to 15th 2018, for ambitious and innovative SME:s and startups involved in the healthcare sector. The aim of the company mission, to Medica Tradefair in Düsseldorf, is to network and find international business or research partners, as well as getting new market insights.

Several companies and entrepreneurs from Umeå have participated in previous years. Maria Wallin Wållberg, CEO of Likvor, is one of these.

“Medica is like a melting pot of people and products and everyone is focusing on Medtech! Great for us who work in the industry and looking for new partners and influences,” says Maria Wallin Wållberg.

As a tip to others who want to go, she greets:

– Book up meetings if possible either through the partner program that EEN holds in or through own contacts. A good starting point is to participate in a joint booth with other companies in order not to cost too much.
